At the Airport
Luggage and Valuables
At airports and other major transport hubs, it is important to keep a close eye on both your luggage and valuables. Never leave your hand luggage, passport, mobile phone or other valuables unattended, particularly at check-in, security checkpoints, restaurants or when visiting the toilet.
Important!
Never agree to carry luggage, packages or other items for someone else, even if the person appears trustworthy. In some countries, unsuspecting travellers may be used to transport illegal drugs.
Make sure that your luggage is clearly labelled and securely locked, and that no unauthorised person has had access to your bags before departure.
- Always keep your passport, mobile phone and valuables under your supervision.
- Never carry luggage or packages for anyone else.
- Label your luggage with your name and contact details.
- Use luggage locks whenever possible.
