Don't Forget a Dental Check-up

Before a longer trip abroad, it may be advisable to have a dental check-up, particularly if you have had previous dental problems. Toothache, infections or damaged fillings can quickly disrupt a trip and may be both expensive and difficult to treat in some destinations.

Also check what your travel insurance covers in relation to emergency dental treatment abroad. Levels of cover and policy conditions vary between insurance providers.
